D2C2
D2C2 - Implementing digitalization in disciplines in a participatory way :: Competencies Connected
The D2C2 project, a collaborative project in Saxony, aims to strengthen university teaching through digitalization. It focuses on four main objectives: developing students' digital skills, enabling digitalized workshop and laboratory work, establishing an OER task pool for mathematics and creating a common understanding of digital examinations. 
This is being implemented through six subject-specific professional learning communities in different disciplines and our Art and Design department is one of them. The project is based on the "Students as Partners" and "Scholarship of Teaching and Learning" approaches and is coordinated by the Saxon Center for Higher Education Didactics (HDS).

art and design COMMUNITY 
DIGITAL
In the digital field, we use a variety of digital tools and discuss topics such as artificial intelligence in art and design education and the development of hybrid workshops. We use digital spaces to meet, collaborate and network across locations.
CONNECT
Through the community, students have the opportunity to network with other students and teachers from different design universities. We bundle a wide range of skills and experiences and find new ways to share and develop knowledge across the institution.
PARTICIPATIVE
Everyone is invited to actively participate and to realize common visions through discussions and teamwork and to contribute to our working groups in various ways. There we develop new teaching and learning concepts, discuss perspectives for new examination formats and develop ways to support creative education and make it more participatory!

MY TASKS
My tasks as a research assistant are varied. One of my main tasks is creating posts in the style of the community's corporate identity and managing the social media channels to represent and connect the community online. 
I'm also actively involved in teaching this semester, as I'm in a teaching tandem with a lecturer. This means that I was actively involved in the revision, development and preparation of the teaching course and take on the responsibility of preparing and presenting content. 
In addition, I support the preparation and follow-up of events and take care of the photo documentation of events. 
The monthly meetings of the art and design community are an important opportunity for me to discuss joint projects and develop new ideas. I also take part in the network meetings to exchange ideas with other members from other disciplines and learn from each other.
